Let me start off by saying that while the Survivormate kits do include some first aid supplies, they are Emergency Kits first and foremost. The Trekker kit is geared towards hikers, however when I saw one on display I quickly realized that it is a perfect kit to have in your vehicle for day-trips into the backcountry.

One of the things that really impressed me in the kit was the instructions for sterilizing baby bottles. Another great feature is how compact and light the kit is. At 8" square and 4" thick it is easy to sling over your shoulder with the built in carry strap. Warning- if you unpack it pay close attention to how everything is arranged so you can fit it all back in.
The kit I reviewed will be given away to one of our readers, however I will be getting one for my own 4x4 very soon.
Survivormate also has an Auto kit, various size Earthquake/ Disaster Kits, and MRE (Meal Ready To Eat) packs.
